I was in the woods at daylight this morning spotted four squirrels cutting in this big arst Hickory. I killed 2 right off and was watching for the other two and looked to my right and saw this coyote within 20 yards of me, Fed High Brass # 5 and he was down. I never moved and fifteen min later the other two spooked squirrels started cutting again and i killed them. Temp was 43 this morning. Used my Benelli Super 90, Fed 2 3/4 inch Number 5 shot, Patternmaster Choke Tube.

Nicely done, sir. I hope I can find enough time for a walk in the woods, myself.
Nice job Bea...
Very nice! Good bonus as well! The woods I hunt now have more grays than fox. I miss the days of the woods I hunted in my youth that only had fox squirrels.

PS- As my grandpa would say, "That fox squirrel has a bag on him like a beagle!"... laugh
Now THAT is what I consider a good morning! Nicely done Bea. Dinner and a bonus pelt!
nice! I miss early squirrel seasons,,,,NC doesn't come in till mid october, heck deer firearm season opens before squirrel does in my area,,,,,might have to start a squirrel boondoggle plan!
Nice!
really nice,
Happy Birthday Bea!
That's a helluva good morning in the woods! grin
yep it was
Good job partner!
I started hitting some oak pasture on the way home from work a couple of weeks ago. I've only got 4 squirrels for the season so far.

Don't have any actual squirrel timbers left to hunt. They've all been leased up or familied out by bow hunters who don't want anyone else in "their" woods.
My last best timber, the owner died and the estate executors won't return a call... The place is all surveyed for development now anyway...
Nice, great pictures too.
