Haven’t had a beagle dog in many years, but thankfully dad volunteered to be the dog for Butch and I today. So I dug 2 of the 20s outta the safe and off we went.

Dad kicked out 4, we killed 2. Although we have 6 dogs already, this makes me really contemplate adding a beagle to the mix again.

Hope everyone is enjoying turkey day, but it appears we’re having rabbit instead 😜

Funny. We always had beagle dogs growing up, dad always bought me a gun of some sort for Christmas, birthdays etc. but in the 28years I’ve been alive I’ve never seen him pack a gun on a hunt. Deer, rabbits etc. he’s always there. But never as a shooter.

Not many cottontails it seems.. But they are fun..

Nice! I’m holding out for deer season to wind down and hopefully some snow before I started pounding the thickets. Love me some rabbit hunting.

Only rabbit hunted a couple times with dogs but it sure is fun.
