Ive been working on some videos for a project. Here are some still photos captured from slow motion takes.
This was a coconut.
Here is what became of the watermelon.
I have finished load development for this Hawken. Looking forward to making meat with it this fall.
Nice! Been making meat with my 54 cal RB for decades! Still infatuated with it!
Picked up a Green Mountain 1" 54cal RB barrel for T/C stocks. Just to get it going, picked up a Renegade stock but really want to get something nicer for it. Found a nice shop not terribly far from me, Pecatonica River Long Rifle Supply Co., that has some really nice looking stocks. Planning on a trip out there soon and get another 54 RB gun into the woods!
I have an almost new 50 Hawken for sale @ $325 its a bargain,
PDS, thank you for sharing! Those are great pictures. My only muzzleloader is an old CVA .54 cal. carbine, but man-o-man that thing has piled up the Kansas whitetails through the years. The best of luck to you with your .54 this fall.
Cool stuff PDS, I'm ready to make meat again this fall with my Hawken too!
