I decide to post this here rather than the gunsmith forum.

I have a Knight Ultra Lite that i cannot get to remain cocked. When I cycle the bolt it cocks, but when I close the bolt back it does not stay cocked.

I cleaned the trigger with brake cleaner did not help. Any recommendations!

I can take some pics of that will help.

Thank you

Greg
Sounds like a sear engagement issue.

Ok tried cleaning everything even though nothing was dirty. I doubt there have been more than 20-25 shots ever. I’m the original owner.

I adjusted the sear engagemen, but at no point, even complete engaged (alway in/turned right) would the bolt remain in the cocked position. IE as soon as I put the bolt back in the action is was no longer cocked.

I'd contact them. Lifetime warranty, I believe. Do it before time gets tight.
Might check your trigger and see if its seated correctly, have you had it out of the gun.. had one do exact same thing and trigger didnt seat all the way when put back in.. just a thought.
