500 smith wesson bullet as a conical in a 50 cal muzzleloader. Any thoughts?

Idahoron over on Modern Muzzleloader took a nice 5x5 Elk in October using the Lee 500 S&W bullet at 248 yards using His Hot Rod Renegade with a 50 caliber Green Mountain LRH barrel. Ron paper patches his bullet . I myself have shot the same bullet out of a stock 50 caliber Hawken and Renegade and although I haven't shot it over 50 yards I was getting good groups. The Lee mold isn't that expensive and put out a 440+ gn bullet with a wide meplat that has some serious anchor authority. The bullet on the right is the Lee 500.
