I recently inherited a TC Black diamond in 50 cal and was wondering if it could be relined to a .36. If so, who do you recommend do the work? Thinking of trying to make a squirrel rifle out of it.

Thanks!
Yes, I'm sure it's possible.

No idea who or how much.

Why. A modern inline 36 is a weird idea.

Scoped squirrel rifle?

Yeah, a scoped squirrel rifle was the idea. Back when I was a teenager there used to be one made by Knight that was on display behind the counter at the Co-op, always regretted not giving it a try. Money was a lot tighter back then though.

I was wondering if it would be possible to use the existing breech plug set up or would a new, smaller one need to be made?

You can probably buy a kit or used .36 Kentucky for about half of the price of a reline job.
Oregunsmithing does relines for low-pressure cartridges. You can always call and ask.
