I have a flintlock my dad won at an NRA convention. There are NO proof marks on it anywhere, it was custom built for him. I posted the photos of the few markings in the miscellaneous image forums under 'dad's flintlock'. Does anyone know who could have made this or even what it is worth. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Huh?
Is that supposed to help anyone look at it? Could that be any more confusing or vague?
OK I figures out what that meant.
I (and many others) are not cyber smart, so I didn't understand at first.
But even seeing them there is not enough photo coverage to give a good answer to it's value or who may have made it.
Too bad that information wasn't given when your Dad won it. Most likely than not the barrel on a these modern custom guns the barrel came from one of the well known barrel makers and don't come with proof marks but most customs I've seen the builder will engrave his name or initials on top of the barrel.
Thanks for that I couldn't resize them to save my life
.
Shreck, if the rifle was won at a convention NRA will have records of that. if at a Friends of the NRA banquet , that opens it wide . the level of quality makes me think more towards a Banquet.
From the pics it looks great. Shoot that sucker.
What a great looking flinter. My guess on worth is $1,000 for starters, easy.
Please . . . someone send him a flint so he can take that abomination out of the hammer.
Even if it is an old used flint!
What a beauty! Wish I could help with the maker...
