My uncle is looking for a muzzleloader (in-line) barrel for an H&R shotgun frame. Can be .45 or .50 cal
Any thoughts on where I can find one?

Keep an eye on graybeard outdoors in the H&R classified section.

Danny,
Thanks for the tip..
Is this for an early (60s-70s frame) or later production? Graybeards will have some barrels, but the prices have gone up, way up, to the point you can probably buy a complete rifle by TC, CVA, or Traditions on sale for less money.

I called him. He is on the other side of the state. He has two of them, both are .223 rifles. I asked him to take photos of receivers and serial numbers for a better idea.
I have a 50 cal I would sell goes on the Handi frames

I hope to have a definative answer tomorrow. This is for my 76 year old uncle. The guy that took me hunting and fishing since I was 6. Wow, that was 54 years ago.

I now have photos of the frames.
Do you have an email address where I can send them?

Thanks to all that have helped out...
I found a new, in the box, CVA Wolf with scope mounts for him at a not too local shop. $225. And he also had a Lyman Deerstalker flintlock in .54 that also came along home for me... and he took $20 off the total because I bought two guns and accessories. Well worth the hour drive.
