For anybody in the southern Maine area, Kittery Trading Post had Shuetzen brand FFg in stock at $28.00 per pound as of Tuesday morning. I bought two.

I saw this coming. Actually. PV did. They posted when they got their last shipment if you need it, order it because it'll be a while before it's available again. I'm set for a while. I don't shoot a ton except when I finish a build and need to work up a load and zero it.

I just picked up 6 1lb bottles of Schuetzen 2Fg and 2 1lb bottles of Schuetzen 3Fg for $25.99 per bottle. Schuetzen seems to be somewhat available. I like it. It burns very clean for a BP.



Unless you just don't want to pay shipping or hazmat, you need to put yourself on every "notify me" list out there. I've been very lucky doing that. I got a notice two days ago for Federal Muzzle Loader 209s and bought 100 of those. Got a notice yesterday for Federal 209As and got 1,000 of those. And I got a notice today that Blackhorn 209 was in stock and got 2 bottles of that.

The last olde eynsford and goex order I got shipped for $30/lb. I won’t be buying any for a while. Sad, I hope someone buys the Goex brand and continues making BP.
