Never had this happen before.

Grabbed one of my quick loads to get loaded up before a hunt. Dumped powder and found there was enough static to make the loose powder stick to the inside of the tube. Dumped out the partial charge and tried a second one, same result…

Got back to the house and measured what was actually being dumped. The pic shown is about an average of 3. My load is 82 grains by weight of BH209. Needless to say that about 30gr light would be next to worthless in the field…

Going to try swabbing the tubes out with a dryer sheet to see if that will prevent the static charge from building.

Put a static cling dryer sheet in your pocket with the speed loaders. It will stop the problem.

Yes, always cross check & double check your work when setting up. Two weeks ago there was a M-L fired at a range West of Milwaukee loaded with two charges. The shooter went to the hospital but will recover.
