Anyone else see this new product announcement from Hornady? Sounds like a great long range big game bullet

They're gonna sell a bunch of those.

I don't need them for the local whitetail but I'll try them.
I need another 30 thousandth of bullet diameter. I am 54 cal guy. Good for 50 cal crowd.
I'm waiting for the 45 cal version. Would be nice if they didn't cost so much also!

Been playing around with the 340 gr. bore driver in a CVA WOLF .Shoots around three inch groups at 200 yd with triple seven. Looking froward for ML season here in North Carolina. Watch out for the recoil starts hurting old people after 4th or 5th shot. lol
Anyone take an elk or large game with these?

Kind of disappointed in the penetration and separation of the jacket & core. There's another test linked in the post as well that shows slightly better results at longer range.
