I was helping a friend move about 6 months ago. We had to go to his father's house and I noticed a musket on the living room wall. Odd, because they are not hunters or anything. He told me it has been in the family for as long as anyone knows. I know nothing about muskets or muzzleloader antiques. But he pointed out that the year 1732 is stamped on the gun. I told them to never sell the gun because it looked like it was in good shape for an almost 300 year old gun. My question is, How much could this musket be worth?

From a couple of hundred to several thousands, depending on what it actually is and if the family has documentation linking it to the aforementioned family member.

Sight unseen, no one could give you a definitive answer.
