Cabelas has this on sale and I was looking at the 3-9 multi x reticule..
What are your thoughts for this on a CVA Accura and on a Wolf?
Thanks!!

I looked at the Bushnell 2-7x36mm with DOA and the reticle was not dark enough for me. I have one of the old Cabelas 35 Remington scopes, originally made for the FTX gummy tip Hornady, on my muzzleloader and I shoot the Dead Center 200 grain 40 cal with sabot from PR bullet and the ballistics with the 200 and 300 yard hold points work perfectly.

I would check out the Cabelas muzzleloader scope especially if you can find the discontinued model that sold for $119. Don't know much about the newer version that retails for $99. Seems like the reticle would be too busy for me. They are both 3-9x40.
Those holdpoints to me are really nice in a muzzie scope.

Also check out the Cabelas scope selection. Just as nice or better than the Bushnells IMO.
I use the 250 DOA version of the Bushnell scope. Very nice scope, and 5" of eye relief is handy for muzzleloaders.
Good glass for the price and your smokepole will love you for it..
not a bad scope at all. I ran one for years on a number of rifles. Good glass, they track accurate as well.

Nikon Prostaff is also another great $100-120 scope.
Thanks gentleman

I use this scope on my CVA Optima and have no issues with the combination. I haven't taken anything with it yet but that's because I haven't been drawn for a ML tag yet.

You can always use it during rifle seasons. I do.

Good point. On every hunt I take a "back-up" firearm. This years Cow Elk hunt was going to be a pair of 30-06's. Now I'm thinking, let the CVA get first cracks and if there is an issue with it then its "next man up" time.

Its not mandated that we use non-leaded ammo up around Unit 7 close to the Grand Canyon. G&F does ask that hunters up in the area help them fend off the same group that sued California for the Condors. So I'll be running Barnes.

Thanks for the idea Brad.
