I don't know how many are on the shelf, but yesterday I was in the Hinson Academy and one of my friends behind the counter pointed out the Impact with Weathershield and came stock. It was marked down that day to $139.98, which is half price. I bought it without needing it. Too good a deal to walk away from. I have a couple of folks in mind to offer it to at the price I paid. Currently on Midway that configuration is selling for $339.99.
I recently purchased this rifle at a clearance price, 149.00. WOW, this rifle feels good, handles well and I love the nice blue job as well.

Shot it using the 295 grain power belt poly tip and 95 grains of Triple Seven FF powder. That rifle held dead tight, no optics here in Colorado, as every rifle I have. The Hawken, Optima, Zuave and more. It was a very fine shooting rifle and I look forward to my Boar hunt this year and this Impact as well. Awesome rifle, great deal.
The impact is kind like a short barreled triumph. We've shortening the triumph barrels for a few years now. Friend brought me a new 2 weeks ago. I cut it to 20" . It made a real nice shooter.
I sold the Impact today for what I had in it. The young lady that I had in mind wanted it as soon as I let her run a saboted bullet down the bore. Her previous muzzleloader was an Omega that had such a tight bore that she could not load it. It was the tightest T/C barrel that I have ever seen. She is a 20 year old farm girl who is no weakling. When she saw that the Impact was easy to load, she grabbed it.
