First deer in over 25 years with the smokepole, got her last night at dusk! Had an 2nd deer tag (antlerless only) to fill and got it done. This strawberry patch raiding blacktail is going to be some great eating! Now I can focus on an elk in a week, then late buck deer in November...



For those interested, rifle is a TC Renegade .50 cal, shooting a 385 gr. Great Plains bullet pushed by 80 gr. RS. Shot was a whopping 25 yds!
