I was reading a ML forum last night that barrels for TC Hawken, Lyman Deerstalker, and Lyman Trade Rifle are interchangeable. Has anyone here done that? Anyone with feedback to share?

Interesting question and one that would be easy to answer for anyone owning a couple of these rifles.

Green Mountain used to sell barrels that could be used on several of the "Hawken-ish" rifles. I suspect they had extra holes drilled that allowed adjusting the position of the lug for the barrel iron, unless by some miracle the positions were identical.

Track of the Wolf sells similar barrels. A trip to their site or a phone call to them might answer you question accurately.
