Posted By: Sharpsman My new Hawken .54 Flinter - 04/03/19
Tom Watson told me this rifle was a shooter and I believe him. The sights on the rifle were not quite right for me so I took it out this afternoon and did a little tapping and filing! First shot was left at 9 o/clock so tapped it over and fired 3 low at 6 o/clock then I broke out my file and did a little cut down job on the front sight! I think it's OK now. Fired this at 60 yards.

That is a special rifle. Looks great and shoots great.
Super nice, good shooting! I sure like my 54 cal Hawken PRB rifle too!
I built my own long ago and the .54 is amazing. I never shot a deer that did not drop at the shot.

No...it's a Tom Watson build. Tom's over in Georgia and does great work! Great guy to deal with!

I’ll have to see if Mr. Watson has a website to preview his wares. That’s one heck a nice fainter you have there!
