That, and the manufactured adapter on other videos wouldn't be legal for deer as MLs here as the regs specifically ban the use of guns converted with "plugs".

Another option for serious use would be to hunt down one of the old Lee tools and reload regular shells with BP. Ross Seyfried did an article for the Hodgdon annual that extolled the virtues of BP shotgunning: great performance at low pressure. He hunts a lot with those.

The only reason I can see to do that is if it all went to hell, you could make your own black powder. I don't know how you could make primers or percussion caps though.
