Happy Summer Solstice!

Days start getting shorter now...

Can't happen soon enough. Summer is over rated.

Gawd damn that was fast.

Means hunting season is closer. I have guns to tweak....

Going to have to do a Slummy and make the wife keep up the yard.

Forgot about that. Thankfully, I just yesterday jammed the last piece of firewood into the shed completing the stash for the coming winter. Cookie found about 2 pickup loads of western larch rounds looking to have been abandoned in the forest about 2 or 3 years back by some woodcutter. Will probably have to go retrieve it, or there will be no peace around here. Do have lots of outside room for storage though with about a 6 winter supply already out back.

Favorite time of the year is about Halloween. Rut hunting, cool, shorter days. Feel perfectly justified sitting on my but watching tv in evenings.

This time of the year is just work.
