Yes standard Tohatsu 4 stroke with Jet pumps just like everything else not available

Kurt was telling me this morning the boats were ordered in the fall and now they are planning to deliver them in mid-summer... but of 100 motors ordered they are offering to deliver 3...

How well do they handle when loaded down? For example -Two guys, camp/gear, and a moose?

The 470 is rated for 2 K, my 470 stays on step at 12 MPH, about 2.2 GPH at 20 MPH , 470 Strella, 50 HP Tohatsu 4 stroke jet.

Short Shaft Jet Unit

Sure could of used one of these when we headed to the Koyukuk for moose every year. We would run up the Huslia and branch off to shallow water using a 10 foot Zodiac with a prop. We could of got into areas few ever visit with one of these boats.

Man that looks like some fun.

With the poly bottom and a urethane jet foot they are the ticket for access up here.

My buddy sells merc's ... sayz.....40hp is about impossible to get....

I think well all could use a boat like that.

Most new outboards now are not available! Bud ordered 100 outboards last year getting 3! Tohatsu they have the lightest 4 stroke Jet outboard.
Merc 50 HP are about 50# heavier, and most are not available!

Sold so many boats it used up all the supply of used LW 2 stroke outboard jets, now with covid, and production problems with Outboard Jet Specialties (who supply most if not all the jet units) plus new outboards are tough to find. Pre Covid the lead time on a lower jet unit about 4 to 6 month. Now who knows.


Sold my first 420 Solar Arrow, still have a 470 and a LW 420 Vega amazing how useful they are up here about any water I can put them in I can run!
