Having two cataract operations in April, was making plans for the full moon but Doc says no go .Heavy recoil could jeopardize the healing process. I did entertain the idea of slipping a 55 grain FMJWC in the ear ,just for a second.

It’s been my experience with my 22-250 ,that the 55 grain FMJWC come apart at the cannelure , at least on Deer it lifts the Skull Cap. I would not like to have Murphy along as a world record with a damage skull would not set well with a Boone and Crockett Judge. Now I know my aim would be true, but Murphy would make the target move and if Mr Bear didn’t follow his nose I would be placing a burden on my Son and Mr. Rigby and that I would not do.

All that in a second.😎

Record books are just paper... but if its important to you then it is.
Kinda like spread is a measurement of air.

Now I see, no wonder my Spark plugs and unsifited flour biscuits never come out right.😳

Neither does a couple of my semi-auto .308s. Not much more than a Daisy Ryder.
