Is there a good old school men’s barber shop in Anchorage?

Why does a Texan care about Anchorage Barber shops? Are you going to move up and open one?

In the 50's and 60's, barber shops were hang outs. Now we need appointments.

There is a old guy at the airport next to TSA. He's a good guy and his views are very conservative.

What does a mans haircut cost, now days. I remember when it was .25 cents. Near 40 years ago I shifted to cutting my own hair.

I just got back from the barber about 5 minutes ago. It's $18 plus a tip.

True...... I had a haircut there once.... I don't think he is there anymore - at least it hasn't been open the last few times I've flown.

I think one has to go to a "hair stylist" now. I have utilized a women's training salon here in Soldotna in the past. Generally very good haircuts.

If in Fairbanks, you can go to Joe's Barber Shop (S College Rd?) - that's pretty old style, good haircuts, and Joe is a good guy.

Of course, he is black, and has a sharp implement in hand with you helpless in the chair......

Tom's Esquire was the last one I've been to. It closed a couple or three years ago.
