Read “On Desperate Ground” by Hampton Sides. Amazon sells it. It’s the story of our US Marines in North Korea who tried to take the Chosin Reservoir in the winter of ‘51 I believe. Awesome read! I couldn’t put it down. I bought copies for my dad before he passed and my FIL, who’s 98 and still kicking. Both served in Korea. Very brave young men back then. They saw and endured unspeakable things. We’re a nation of pussies now compared to those guys.
