Pard arrowed this a couple days ago. Still waiting for the official "pumpkin" measure. Just in time to save a lot of calves methinks.
Good job pard!

That has to get the ticker tickin,to be that close to drop with a bow, even if the guide has to perforate it a few times

Nah, I'm sure the pucker factor finished it off..... would have for me! smile

I'm not afraid of bears unless we are eyeballing - and then only get the shakes after - have them thru the yard all the time, no prob. But I don't go around provoking them either!

If you can't baffle them with BS - leave a real slippery trail! smile

Knew it was a good bear via photo. 9'er plus. Nice bear indeed
Thats gotta be on my bucket list... my buddy says no way.. LOL.
Awesome bear, congrats to the hunter.
I hunted them with bow in 2015 and never got a shot, but going back June 1 of 2018.
I'll be up there hunting grizzly the 1st week of June. I'm using a 375. I can only dream of finding one that nice. Conglads--Bob

Hell I'd be tickled with a brown bear that big... much less a 9 foot plus grizz!
Damn! Takes some intestinal fortitude to touch the release with that beast as the target. Congrats to your pard.
That is an awesome bear. Good job.

Wow! What a bear!

Congrats to the hunter.

Guy
I love it! Getting a higher survival rate in newborn calves is a good thing!
