I'd trade that for my 38 and raining, these gravel roads go to chit after a day or two of rain.

Drove to anchorage today and fresh snow on tips of peaks towards pws. Cold wind in the mountains. Warmer in anchorage. Maybe an early winter. We have had snow on our caribou hunts 3 of the last 6 years after zero last 20 years before that. We had over a foot of snow in the wrangells second week in august in late 1990s.3500 feet. Global warming is deceptive.....

Come on down. Extremes are always fun... LOL. Got so hot at a fire yesterday morning that last night after work I was totally useless and got nothing at all done. I hate that.

No snow on Granites [5k'] here in Delta.......snow on Mt Hayes appears to be at 6k level......winds have been something else.....trying to shoot cranes on 40mph wind has been fun.

Are you packed Vernesto? Saw a couple lil bulls eating grass in downtown Delta on my way to Chitina last month. They looked tasty
