helluva thing to go through, Mike Cronk is made out of the right stuff.

Both are great guys and serious hunters. Both are former pro-Constitution history teachers who have retired. I talked with Rob for about two hours this summer. Rob told me to retire as soon as I could so I could hunt more and deal with less commie bull excrement. Bob and I hunt a lot of the same country and his wife is from Glennallen. I grew up playing hockey against Mike and Joe Spittler. They went towards Basketball and I was more of a wrestler. Mike is truly a legend in Bush Alaska and is an ambassador of all the things that are right about old time Alaska. There are less and less really good conservative history teachers. Prayers out to both gentlemen. May Robert heal quickly from his physical wounds and may Mike heal from his psychological wounds. Both deserve good sheep hunts in the Wrangells.

Glad they managed to survive. Hope they heal as well.

Mike's made of the right stuff and he will persevere.

For a guy of Mike's capability to be in the position of helpless victim has to be difficult.

I knew Mike was there sent a text from good ol korea asking if he was ok about 30 min later he let me know physically he was fine but the whole young kid dying in his arms got him.. as others have said Mike is one of good guys and I'm sure he will overcome this in mike Cronk fashion.
