Thanks for the help at the " station" Mike! I'll not knock your "hoppy-ness" ever again😉
Had!
IPAs are some of the best, once the taste buds mature.
guess at 54 mine still have a LONG way to go.
I still think bender just re-labeled some Scottish for me 😉
I believe your exact words regarding that fine IPA was,
“this don’t suck too bad!”

Guilty as charged... smile
More flavorful and aromatic than the withering English IPA, its color can range from very pale golden to reddish amber.

Thank you Beerguide.com.
IPA's are great as long as there is NO, I said NO citrus flavor of any KIND in the beer. It seems to be a simple request that many beers fail.

I realize that it's a matter of tastes and perhaps even acquired tastes.

Personally I like malty tasting brews.

And sure, I also like grapefruit juice. I just don't like it in my beers.

But if it don't suck that bad, then down she goes.
Who had their first beer?
What's the deal with these new IPA's that look like belgian whites?

What the hell is a belgian white?

A wheat beer using ale yeast... very prone to chill haze and a near total lack of flavor or character.

Tastes better than a bud light.

And she don't stink much for a fat chick!

Tried just about ever little berg's wheat from Berlin to Frankfurt. Have not tried one since. They did "suck too bad!" to my taste 😉
Hated it so much then that I won't even use any wheat product in my bait sites anymore. Now barley, sugar and porter (or malt,) the dang bears just seem to love! Makes em' taste good too, yep😀
Maybe if you use wheat they will "rise" after shooting... instead of shrinking on the ground!
i have been drinkin American beer for over 55 years ,my son likes IPA beers but i just don`t care for IPA beer besides i can buy a case of Busch lite for less than $20.00 and IPA beers are around $10.00 for 6 that`s nuts !
Ime having a beer or 4 with ironbender, some beers are better than others, but it’s always good

If you don’t like IPA’s or other craft beers just pour one into a 5 gallon bucket and fill it with tap water. Walah!!! Busch lite!

For me, the fruitier and hoppier the better. My favorites are barely wines (if IPA is Hulk Hogan a barely wine is The Hulk) and double IPA’s like Fog Cutter Double IPA.

Flavor is good!

Amen! Just being silly.
Yes! I get a "sense" of it...😉

So is "barely wine" an autocorrect or a Crosbyism?

wink

Thomas Hardy Ale is one of my favorite "Barely Wines!"

He loves his mount!
I have nothing against IPA's, just wish the craft brewers put as much effort into the other quality brews. Pour me a good stout now you're talking.

I did enjoy tipping back a couple of brews with Bender and Beerhunter earlier this year.

Some of my favorite beers started out as Bender's!

How much beer fits in a conundrum? Is that one of those fancy jugs you get refilled?

Bofe of youse jabronis are welcome for free beer!
Had to edit tbat twice to not be beets or beef!
I think a conundrum is a 50 gal drum that comes with a section of hose and a visegrip....

Keep the beets, but I'll take that free beef. It's like IPA - not as good as the real thing, but necessity is a mother. Or something like that.
