I would love nothing more than to run some steel this winter.
I've had but one weekend (2 consecutive days) off since last October and I dont see things slowing down a bit.
That's not an issue for me, pay now and play later. Plus i love my job, the demands, and the final results of handing the keys to a brand new house/home over to the new homeowners. It's also allowed me to build up my various provisions, toys, and such.
The Martan will be there when I get there, so I have that dangling like a carrot ahead of me.
I would like to take a few days and find a moose to put in the freezer though.

Unfortunately because of both time limitations and logistics (very difficult access and very limited access) I decided against it.
Perhaps things will slow down.
Last winter I averaged a little over 85 hours a week between November and April.
Now I'm down to about 72 hours a week.
