JeffA, I have watched a bald eagle march down a line of coots that froze in, and just rip the breast off ,and go to the next in line. Wreck on long bridge and stuck watching wildlife instead of working.

I remember that move from the movie “Karate Kid”!

LOL, yeah that's about what was going on there.

They seem to spar continually when in large groups and competing for food.
The younger birds antagonize the mature ones endlessly. Feathers fly on a regular basis.

I watch gulls harass eagles all summer. Pretty funny.
