This is the first year that I didn't put in for sheep but I turned 78 today so I hope I can be excused for not contributing.

I did put in for a bison and cow moose tag in the neighborhood but after helping with 8 big animals last fall, I'm not all that
anxious to draw.

Cranes have begun to occupy much of my fall as grouse are about extinct up here.

It all depends on which source you use on the ADF&G website. There are several different places. One even says noon.

About time some of you tag hogs stop applying!

I've been thinking about putting in a proposal to have Lake Trout on a draw tag.

Great idea that could be applied to other outdoor ventures.

I don't worry about the hook and line folks. It's the Personal Use gill net fishery
that constitute the bulk of riff-raff.

I only put my boys in for bou and moose, and just moose for me. I just don’t have time at this point for anything else and certainly don’t want to take a tag from someone that will use it. Maybe next year!

It’s been 8:10 am last few years. Someone gets to work at 8am, gets a cup of coffee and flips a switch.

They know that there is at least 1 world record. Adfg fought to keep it closed, but finally some sanity at the bog. Two tags won’t hurt a thing.

By this time I could have had 30 plus 9' bears under my belt on Kodiak. That is, if I had ever had anything but 0 for 30 (closer to 40) years of my typical draw luck. Deer tags do not a brown bear make

I guess I applied for too much stuff because I’m seeing the 3 tags I won and I can’t even remember which ones they are!

DI403, DS102, and DM410.

I know it’s a sheep tag and I think the only moose tag I put in for was one of the valley antlerless tags. Put in for sheep all over the state!

Time to check the supplement and see what they are!!

DB254? You beat me to it. I was there on a fall hunt a couple years ago with a hunting partner (his tag). He took an old sow. I may be able to answer a few questions when you get around to planning.

I only drew the DM410. My fingers had been practicing typing the other two for the last three months so I guess they did it out of habit.

The bulls I have seen in there always seem to be in miserable access areas... hope you have a herd of sherpas!

It is the Knik tag so I guess it’s a little of both.

Drew Berners moose tag, again!!! 2 times in the last 3 years. This is a <1% draw probability.

Better to be lucky than good is my motto.

Check with CWH2... he can tell you all about how to kill a moose in the most difficult way and place possible, under the nastiest conditions in the unit!

Editing to add.... Yeah, i have a "good" spot for the later hunt, 427. Mr. Bill drew it this year so will hopefully be poking around late in the year. 3 schmidt-shows is not nearly enough.
