Guys, don't "jump the gun" on this.

I don't think that's a flag per se, but a red and white striped cloth. Note the "flag" still standing in front of the gun in photo #2. No field of blue shows on the "cover". Also note the subtle difference in the hue of red on the flag standing and the stripes of the cover of the gun. I believe that he has a couple of July 4th table cloths covering the gun and the wheels. Wheels covered by round table cloths.
