Would I be missing anything from BBGG I and II if I got III, or is III just an updated revision of them?

GGIII is a different book. While there are a couple specific cartridge chapters on new powders and bullets , none of the other info appears in the first two books. Plus, the last quarter of the book consists of questions and answers from the Campfire.

THE WILD BOWL--the soups, stews and chilies book--has been getting some nice reviews from quite a few customers. While Eileen was working up the recipes, she stuck many of the leftovers in the freezer, for hunting season when we often didn't have time to cook!

Thanks, I think you'll enjoy the upland book. We put around 12,000 miles on our vehicles that fall, traveling to different places to hunt various kinds of birds, from the U.P. of Michigan to eastern Oregon, and southern Arizona to the Sandhills of Nebraska, so Eileen would have enough wild birds to experiment with for the book. It was an interesting year!
