Looks like short-fat 243 Win to me, and I don't care for short fat cases, but I think if I was going to try one or build one for a kid, this little HOWA with forged reciever and bolt and a hammer forged barrel, this barreled action from brownells would just be the ticket. Box magazine fed, apparently using existing mags. Send this off to McMillan or the likes for a custom fit stock.

I have a Howa Mini in 6mm ARC on order. Hopefully it will be here soon.

I have a AR in 6 ARC and the Carbon Mini How in 6 ARC. Cannot find anything I don't like about the little guy. Amazing shooting, easy to shoot, and pretty cheap if you wanna slack off on the press and buy a few boxes of ammo.

Not for me, as I’m very content with the Grendel/6CM combo I have on hand. Had it come along, say in 2017, I might be running one now instead of those. I have just about the right amount of stuff on hand to wear out the 6, and doubt I could wear out the Grendel in the time left to me.
