Keg tap; got one pretty similar to it.
Schuetzen rifles, yeah, its a keg tap.
Dave, Im a big noisy bald guy, but I aint fallin for that
Thanks Hawki, funny that it made it into the pic.
Come on guys, can't you see that it's a pic of a 2008 Winchester Model 70 Safari Express made in Columbia SC?

Are we now switching Lee24's Model 70 discussion to another thread?
.
It is a blow gun used to shoot poison darts. Looks like a deluxe model and it could be a Columbia SC, version.
Come on, guys, nobody would bring beer to a shoot would they?
Northern Dave: You need to hire a straight man.
OK, What's a Henway?"

If I recall correctly, about two pounds, but most of the hens from those days are long since dead. Maybe it's different now.
Looks like a keg tap. Guns and kegs got along much better in early days. Oh those were the days....
Probably a bullet luber, but from what I understand about the old shutzen guys it may also work as a beer tap. No, on second thought it is a beer tap.
What's a dickfe...Wait a minute, hold on...
Bullet seater to fit into false muzzle
last I checked, a keg tap was an ecential part of the deer camp. Or it should be.
Sure looks like a keg tap.
course it's been awhile...what's a dickfer
It's clearly a tool for cleaning out the blackwater tank of an RV. Attach the hose to the top, lower it through the toilet and blast away. These were critical back in the day before synthetic chemicals to keeping the plumbing flowing during those long shooting competitions or early hunting seasons.
Or it's a dickfer.....
Maybe we've been wrong all along and it's supposed to be dickway and henfer.
It's a dispenser for relative bearing grease.
Looks to be a dispenser for "aiming fluid" to me....................................grin
hmm, you could be on to something but to get an accurate weight on a dickway, well it would almost have to be detached.....
Therefore, similar to how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie roll tootsie pop... "the world may never know"

Dave, might be a career opportunity for that Bobbit woman.
It's a dispenser for relative bearing grease.
How about a dispenser for grease for over-bearing relatives?
More than likely it's purpose was to pump water through the barrel(s) during cleaning.
Of course they probably found it to also work as a multi-purpose tool, using it to also dispense the beer AND clean out the tank on the camper.
It's obviously a pressuring tool...for charging the old fashioned traps that launched glass balls for flying targets.
My old neighbor was there when these pictures were taken...says he remembers it well. At the first sight of this dude, one guy says to his buddy, "Hey dikfer brains...who is that guy and what's he carrying?" "Oh, that's old Henway with his target launch charger. Nice guy, that Henway, but as you can see, he ain't got no balls!" In the old days, if there was to be a shoot...somebody had to get some balls.
On second thought....It could be a beer tap/keg charger. Shooting, after several beers, could be done in pairs. One guy shoots, while the other provides the gas for launching the glass ball targets. (Check these pictures carefully: Somewhere in there is Henway's elder brother, the local proctologist.)
The more I study these pictures, the more information is revealed. I must close now and get back to filling out my CIA job application.
