Ok, I travel 72 miles one-way to work, and I do this 5 days per week. can I claim this on my taxes?
Do you ask CPAs for gun writing advice? Just curious as I personally wouldn't trust tax advice gleaned from gunwriters...
That is consider commuting.. so NO it can not be claimed as a deduction. ON the contrary, business people can claim mileage as it is done in the name of pursing business..
If you are self employed get a local PO box near you then the mileage starts from there.
If you were considered a contract employee in which case you would get a 1099 from whomever you're working for (essentially self employed as stated above) than you can declare the mileage. Other wise NOPE
I am going to HR Block tomorrow, need some new reloads..
no unless you are self-employed and it's business travel.
I use turbo tax and all those questions get answered and it's cheap too!
Heard Cabelas is offering free divorce paperwork with $1000+ gun purchases..
I'll buy 2 $1,000 rifles, just to be sure!
