I have Lee, Forster, and Redding dies for the 6.5 creedmoor. They were all around the same price as those dies for other cartridges. I think what you are seeing is more" high end expensive dies" that are readily availiable for the 6.5 creedmoor because of its benchrest reputation.

No. To verify OP's assertion, I went to Midway (no, I did not go to other sites). He is not comparing "high end dies" to "standad dies".

He is comparing apples to apples except some apples are 270/30-06/223/243/308/etc and the comparing apple is 6.5CM.
I reassert what I said above, "smart marketing" or, rephrased, "get it while the getting's good" when you are selling in the free market.
