I stumbled upon this link:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I0-jKrUTG4E

It shows a supposedly factory stainless Model Seven in an H.S. Precision stock chambered in 6.5 mm Creedmoor. The rifle shows a prototype serial number. The poster refers to a blog post with more info. I was unable to find the post. Perhaps Remington made him pull it down due to a news embargo? Does anyone know if this rifle is really in the works or not?
I think, if they make it, that Remington will asked more money than Barrett does for the Fieldcraft, and it will face-plant.

IME H&S stocks weigh a ton. Makes no sense to put a heavy stock on a light rifle like the model 7. Howa is making the same mistake with this years Alpine model in going with an H&S stock.
