I have not started handloading for my 6.5 CM yet and have only shot the Hornady 143 ELD X and 147 ELD M while I collect brass.

Have you found more accurate factory loads in your rifles? I am getting .75 MOA with the aforementioned loads so I ain't complaining. I was wondering what else to try. My focus will be on whitetails in the fall and shooting steel long range a secondary activity

I haven’t tried any of the ELD factory loads but the Hornady American Gunner averaged in the .5” range for five 5-shot groups.

I’ve had the best luck with Prime, Norma Match and Federal ammo loaded with 130gr bergers in my two Tikkas. All are around 1/2 MOA if I do my part.

The most consistently accurate group for my 6.5 CM Bergara is 123 gr Horn. ELD M / 44.0 grs IMR 4350 with coal of 2.710". Latest group at 100 yds was .253". I only shoot three shot groups. This load is my max for this bullet weight.
