If anybody is in the market for a cherry No. 1 in .416 Rem, I saw one today at Mid-South Guns in Wagram, NC. Looked practically new and wore a Redfield 5 Star 2-7x - $1295, which seems very reasonable in today's market for No. 1s. I was tempted myself, but don't need another big gun.

Thanks for the heads-up. I'm in the same boat as you in that I kind of have everything I need (especially in falling blocks) so I'm at the point where it takes something really unique to make me consider a purchase now. Just out of curiosity, I took a look online to see if that gun shop had any online presence where they posted guns for sale (they don't). But one of the two photos on their anemic FB page made it look like a place I could kill a few minutes in. My kind of shop!

Holy smokes. I guess this is where all the wood and blued guns go when a guy dies. I would like to visit this shop.

Yeah, that photo is just a portion of one wall, and the owner said he had just bought 300 more guns that he had no room to display...

I don't know if I could handle the temptation if I lived close enough to make a trip to that shop.
