That rifle with about a 20" barrel would be the all around bulletproof working rifle
Posted By: EricM Re: Lets see some big bores - 10/01/13
Phoneman, thanks. I had it cut to 22". Balance point is right where I want it. It's a lot of fun to shoot!

Those are very nicely configured Ruger #1's, sir! I've always had a bit of interest, but never delved into them. Maybe after my lever action fetish has run its course... grin

VERY nice rifles here guys. Wow!

Since .375's and the like have invaded this "big bore" thread, I thought I'd show off a couple of .375's that I really enjoy:

Elkhunternm - love the straight grain in that one.

Looks like some serious scope rings as well. Talley?

You use that for elk hunting?

Guy
Those are Warne's and yes I took it elk hunting. That stock is factory as far as I know. It has a Leupold 1x-4x in Weavers now.

Lovely rifle there Biebs. What is it like to shoot? Do you hunt with it much?

Would like to pull the trigger on Frank's MRC actioned AHR 600 but way too short for me (need at least 14.5"). Pity.

Cheers, Chris
