Why would you want anything other than the mildest factory load with such a tiny beast? Go with the Remington 405 grain Express loadings or better yet, with one of the new "cowboy" loadings from Black Hills or somewhere. I have heard tales of broken and sprained wrists just from shooting these things. They are a nice and well-made little gun but to me, the Alaskan Survival Models and such are just curiosa. I saw a dude touch off a 2" 410 in a 45/410 model one day and it was all he wanted. He only shot it once!
Usually firearms manufacturers won't countenance usage of anything but factory loads in their guns. In many cases, use of handloads will void any warranty which comes with the gun.
