I'm afraid so FC, word a couple of years ago David had cancer.

I'm not sure. I spoke with him around a year ago and he was getting along fine, but I have tried calling him a couple of times and his cell number is no longer in service. I'm afraid it doesn't look so good.

I will remain hopeful. David is a gentleman.

I can't locate Miss Lynn, I sent an email to the address on her information here.

No I don't, but after I posted this last night I looked on my desk top computer downstairs and found I had his work cell number. I called it and got his voicemail so I left him a message to call me. For those of you that know David sometimes it's a while before he gets back to you, but I will post the minute I find out something.

I’ve not heard or spoke with him in some time. I saw Blake’s post on FB earlier tonight and suggested Lynn possibly.
Mike, I sure hope he answers that work phone. Let him know there are still decent people that would like to see him comment once in a while.

I recently left a message on his home number in SC, I hope that there will be some news of him soon.

I feel better this morning, crazy mixed up world we in, but look at all these good people showing concern for David !

I am writing to and calling as many people as I can remember who were "friends" of David's here on Campfire. I am also researching other avenues to see if something pops up that could give us even the tiniest clue.

I know David's sister had cancer, didn't know about him. We live in the same town at one time a block and a half from each other. Last time I talked to David he was planning retirement and being back here full time. That's been probably 2 to3 years. I figure he like others got tired of the attitude of some on here and just got off.

I hope David is well. I hope everyone is well.

There was a post quite awhile back that he was leaving the 24HCF permanently and and another that he was very ill

Rem, as we had not heard from David, and his phone does not seem to work, I do assume he is sadly no longer with us.
