I just enjoyed a half a bratwurst, kraut, yellow mustard.

Better still, a whole brat, wheat bun, sauerkraut, most any side.

They are good with ketchup too.

Our Fairway store makes great brats.

I find their casings way too tough.

Not as good as they are without ketchup.

My 8 year old son says the same.

Wise beyond his years.

When I harvested my last mountain goat instead of burger I did up half maple breakfast sausage and half brats, but I didn't put it in casings. Made for some excellent burgers.

I like that"snap!", the hot salty grease squirtin' out!
