Going to build one of these...ordered an 18" smooth disc from TSC..$22

will add threaded pipe sleeves...3/4" black...You'll need to cover axle hole with a plate of some sort

cut at 7-10* angle & weld three to bottom..

Legs...I plan to use over camp fire with hot coals...even charcoal..so 12" long or so

weld 2 horse shoes for handles

caps on the bottom...what cha think ?

That should work just fine.
Bought one made by a buddy up in Georgia. Cost of materials. Mine is 22 inches across. It uses a Coleman propane one burner camp stove with a mount welded to the bottom. Legs just slip into welded sockets, and tighten down with a thumb screw.
Great bit of gear, and I use it often.

Let ya know when its done & cookin'

may/may not adapt for LP gas hook up on bottom
I like the idea of most of the cookers that can feed a large group, but would use one seldom.
