I have been eating more veggies lately as fresh ones become available. It has mostly been green beans and asparagus. I have been sauteing the green beans in olive oil with some thyme, oregano, seasoned salt and fresh ground pepper - not highly seasoned, just enough for taste, An alternative is to fry up some diced bacon and throw the beans in for last few minutes. Diced onions optional.

Asparagus has been lightly brushed with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkled with Emerill's Original Essence spice blend and then broiled or cooked on the grill, long enough to be done but not long enough to get mushy.
