'Tiz the season for eggnog!

What "libation" do y'all like in your eggnog?

Been putting Black Velvet in mine, but am thinking "maybe" some rum might be good?

Thanks for suggestions!

Ditto. Never have been.

I do both rum and bourbon.

Mixed reviews.

Might have to pick up some rum and give it a try.

Wife and I both like hot Eggnog for our seasonal "toddy"

I'll dribble a little nog into a mug of bourbon at the Tgiving. Makes the family easier to take.

Homemade nog, all the following go into it during the making. Estate Rum, Frangelico, Courvoisier and Buffalo Trace
all go into it.

Sounds good. We buy one quart for December, and have small glasses for desert. Usually the kick is spiced rum. Pretty rich for our taste, so a quart last a while.

The homemade stuff is no where near as nasty as that corn syrup, store bought stuff.

i've made it before, never thought it was as good as a nice, thick store-bought from a good dairy, thinned out with a bit of rum

Many people aren't good at many things.

Easy Peasy. Refrigerate and serve. Throw a little rum in if you like.

I've found that if I put about a shot and a half of booze to a coffee mug, and top off with eggnog, the eggnog thins out about right, especially when warmed a bit.
