So, got a really nice surprise yesterday.

The contractor that we had do our siding & standing seam steel roof, installed a fully operational range hood, over the flat top, on the rear deck.

His idea is to keep the fat n stuff, away from the lovely new cedar.

That's a great addition, now you need to do some fried rice and Philly cheesesteak.

Please update us to let us know how it works. I get tired of cleaning grease off of our house and window from my Blackstone. It's amazing to me how far that grease will spatter.

back when i bought my grandma's house, we painted the small, enclosed kitchen and continued to use her old gas range. few years later took down some pictures and the wall behind them was lighter for not being exposed. have used gas ranges ever since without having the same problem. i think the old gas range was the issue for some reason
