Does anyone have a good idea about what to do with butternuts? I've got bushes and bushes here and it seems a waste to just burn them.

Do a web search, it says they are also called white walnuts and are really good. shows you how to open them. Looks like allot of work for very little meat.

Daughters make noodles out of them for pasta substitues. Spiralized I believe its called.

Are you talking Butternuts from the tree or butternut squash? Nuts from the Butternut tree are delicious, just crack them open anyway you can and eat the nut meat.

They are hard.
