For some fried chiggum! And you alls knows how I do likes fried chiggum. And I didn’t want that stuff they makes in town at them places.

So I bought me some ties at grocer. My favorite part is the ties!!!! I do like ties!!!

I friied em up in my cast iron chicken fryer full of bacon drippins’ and lard. They was almost as good as my Mamaw’s but not quite. Maybe it was because I was hurting for some chiggum.

Chicken is getting scarce KW! At the grocery today and the chicken case was looking ridiculously sparse. They had about a half dozen whole fryers out. Almost $20 a bird! Free range and organic things.

That’s chicken fried gold on that plate!
