What's the plan?

We've got smoked turkey, smoked gravy, rutabagas, green beans and shallots, roasted Roma tomatoes with blue cheese and oyster casserole. Bride gets dessert.

I'm sure there will be a cocktail and a few glasses of wine.

What y'all having?

Got takeout Chinese food. Had a ham and trimmings at a friend’s place last night. Highlight was the Tiramisu made by their new French nanny.

Tomorrow they’re coming here and I’m doing a prime rib au jus and Yorkshire pudding.

Your typical Thanksgiving turkey meal. Thanksgiving was prime rib. Christmas Eve was Italian.

We had a Mexican dinner. Tamales, Spanish rice, grilled chicken with Mexican marinade, tortillas and sangria.
